Biography
2012-13: Woolsey rode in the horsemanship for the Aggies, picking up victories against Ohio State (9/22), Delaware State (9/21), TCU (9/23), and Fresno State (3/1). She had a season best score of 73.5 against TCU’s Erin Gillette. Woolsey rode for the Aggies at the NCEA National Championship (4/18-20) and was named Western Most Improved Player at the team banquet.
2011-2012: Woolsey was a starter in Horsemanship in 2011-12. She ended the season with a record of 6-7-1 with one MVP. Woolsey’s wins came against West Texas A&M (9/18), Fresno State (10/8), Sacred Heart (10/20), South Carolina (10/29), Tennessee Martin (1/27), and TCU (2/25). Woolsey was named MVP for her winning ride against TCU’s Taylor Prince, with a score of 75 to 72.5. The National Collegiate Equestrian Association awarded Wilson with 2012 Academic All-American honorable mention honors.
2010-11: Woolsey competed in Horsemanship for NM State in 2010-11, earning a record of 2-2 overall. She had wins against Oklahoma State (2/12) and Tennessee-Martin (3/26).
High School: Woolsey is a 2010 graduate of Kearney High School, where she was a member of National Honor Society and was a four-year letter winner in swimming. Woolsey is a four-time AQHYA World Championship Show qualifier and was a semi finalist in Showmanship at the 2009 AQHYA World Championship Show. She ranked sixth in the nation in AQHYA Limited Rider Standings in Hunt Seat Equitation and has numerous all-around and high point titles in Nebraska Quarter Horse Association.
Personal: Woolsey is from Gibbon, Neb. and is the daughter of John and Mari Woolsey. She is studying sports medicine at NM State.
