Competed in Horsemanship… Earned a 6-4-1 record… Twice earned Most Oustanding Player honors… Twice named United Equestrian Conference Horsemanship Rider of the Month… Went undefeated at the United Equestrian Conference Championship Tournament… Competed at the National Collegiate Equestrian Association National Championship Tournament… Named NM State Equestrian Most Outstanding Player for Horsemanship… Named to the National Collegiate Equestrian Association Academic First Team.
2013-14: Storey competed for the Horsemanship squad for NM State, representing the Aggies and recording a 9-4-1 overall record. She notched one Most Outstanding Player title on the season. Storey earned her MOP in a win against Fresno State (11/2) scoring a 74.0 and winning by 3.5 against her opponent. In the NCEA tournament, Storey took the a win against SMU, winning by 9.5 over her opponent, giving NM State one of its two wins in the discipline. Storey recorded a 64.3% win percentage for the season with an average score of 72.0. She was named to the 2014 NCEA Academic first-team and the NCEA Honor Roll.
2012-13: In her rookie season Storey competed for the Aggies in the Horsemanship, winning against TCU’s Katie Gray 72-68. She tied South Dakota State's Hannah Stone at Fresno State (3/1), where the Aggies kept the Jackrabbits from scoring in the Horsemanship on neutral ground at Fresno State (3/1). Storey was selected as a demonstration rider for the third round at the National Championship, where she scored a 144.5.
High School: Storey graduated from Glenview Park High School, where she regularly made the Honour Roll. She was the 2010 AQHA Youth World Cup Silver Medalist in Horsemanship and placed 6th in the Hunt Seat Equitation while riding for the Canadian team. A regular participant at the All American Quarter Horse Congress, Storey has multiple top ten placings and one Congress Champion title in Showmanship. Storey is the three time All-Around Youth for the Ontario Quarter Horse Association and has earned the AQHA Youth Performance Champion award on two different horses. She is a multiple qualifier to the AQHYA World Championship Show and earned the prestigious AQHA Youth Supreme Champion title. Storey was a member of the 2012 Canadian Youth World Cup Team, held in Kreuth, Germany. She was named the Reserve High Point Overall Rider, winning gold medals in Hunt Seat Equitation, Horsemanship, and Hunter Under Saddle.
Personal: Storey is from Cambridge, Ontario and is the daughter of Randy and Robyn Storey and Rick Fleetwood.
