Biography

 

2012 (Redshirt Sophomore): Manley started at quarterback for the Aggies in all 12 games in 2012. On the season, Manley threw for 2,764 yards and 18 touchdown passes, connecting on 53.9 percent of his pass attempts. He averaged 230.3 yards passing per game and 214.2 yards of total offense a contest. Manley also rushed for two scores on the year. His passing yards per game ranked fourth in the WAC and 47th in the nation. Manley also recorded two 300-yard passing games and eight games with over 200 yards passing. He now has 13 games during his career with over 200 yards passing which ranks him third all-time. His 2,764 passing yards ranks sixth all-time for a single season, while his 18 touchdown passes rank tied for seventh in a single season. Against Sacramento State (Aug. 30), Manley recorded his best game of his career with 367 yards passing and three touchdown passes. Versus I-10 rival UTEP (Sept. 15), he threw for 290 yards and three touchdowns. Manley recorded 309 yards of passing against Idaho (Oct. 6) with one touchdown pass, while recording his first career rushing touchdown. He recorded at least one touchdown pass in 10 out of 12 games in 2012.

2011 (Sophomore): Manley started for the Aggies at quarterback the first three games of the season before suffering a season ending against UTEP (Sept. 17). In three games, Manley threw for 892 yards on 62-of-109 passing and six touchdowns, completing 56 percent of his pass attempts. In the Aggies' opening game of the season against Ohio (Sept. 3), Manley threw for a career-high 362 yards and two touchdowns, including a career-long pass of 54 yards. He then led the Aggies to the school's first ever win over a Big Ten opponent at Minnesota (Sept. 10) 28-21. Manley completed 20-of-31 for 288 yards and a career-high three touchdowns. Against I-10 rival UTEP, Manley passes for 242 yards and a touchdown on 20-of-37 passing.

2010 (Freshman): Manley played in five games for the Aggies as a true freshman in 2010, starting four games. He tallied 604 passing yards on 63-of-121 passing, with six interceptions and a touchdown pass. Manley saw his first action as an Aggie against New Mexico (Oct.9), coming in during the Aggies' final drive of the game to put NM State in field goal range to hit the game winning field goal to beat their in-state rival, 16-14. Manley was 2-for-2 on that game winning drive. In his first career start versus Fresno State (Oct. 16), Manley went 2-for-5. After an injury to Matt Christian, Manley took over the start duty again during the final three games of the season. Against LA tech, Manley threw for 216 yards on 20-of-40 passing, including his first career touchdown pass to wide receiver Todd Lee. He also rushed for 27 yards during that game. Versus Nevada (Nov. 20), Manley threw for a season-high 220 yards on 19-of-32 passing, including a season-long pass of 44 yards. In the season finale against Hawai'i (Nov. 27), he threw for 135 yards on 20-of-35 passing.

High School: Manley was a standout quarterback for Leilehua High School. As a senior, Manley passed for 3,143 yards and 35 touchdowns. He was named the 2009 Gatorade Player of the Year in Hawai'i. Manley was also named the 2009 Offensive Player of the Year by the Honolulu Advertiser, a 2009 All-OIA Red West team by the Honolulu Advertiser and a 2009 first team all-State selection by the Honolulu Star Bulletin. He also played in the Polynesia versus Mainland Game. As a junior, Manley threw for 3,676 yards and 31 touchdowns, while rushing for four touchdowns. He was named the 2008 Honolulu Star Bulletin Offensive Player of the Year and the 2008 Honolulu Advertiser Co-Offensive Player of the Year. As a sophomore, Manley was named the Honolulu Quarterbacks Club Male Prep Athlete of the Year and the OC16 Impact Player of the Game in the OIA Championship, helping Leilehua to a state championship.

Personal: Manley is the son of Kimo and Catherine Manley. He is undecided in a major.
