Biography

2008 (Junior): Romero redshirted during his first season with the Aggies.

 

Snow College: Romero had 15 tackles, four tackles-for-a-loss, one sack, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble for Snow College in 2007 where he helped the Badgers reach the NJCAA National Championship game. In 2006, Romero helped Snow finish the season ranked No. 2 in the NJCAA, and in 2007 the Badgers finished at No. 3 in the nation, despite reaching the national championship game.

 

High School: Romero played in the 2004 Las Vegas All-Star game as a defensive end after his team went 8-3 under coach Greg Murphy. The year before that his team was 11-1 and captured the league championship while Romero was an honorable mention selection. He also lettered twice in track and field as a discus thrower where he received third place at the Mt. SAC invitational. He was also the 2003 MVP of his track and field team.

 

Personal: Romero was born May 20, 1986 and is the son of Raul and Barbet Romero. He plans on majoring in criminal justice.
