Biography

2005: Clint made the move from fullback to tight end during the Spring.

2004 (Freshman): Jones played seven games for the Aggies at fullback. He rushed the ball five times on the season for 55 yards. Against North Texas (10/23), Jones rushed for a career-high 42 yards on two carries, including a long of 41 yards. Jones’ 41 yard run was the longest rushing play from the line of scrimmage for the season. Jones also caught three passes for 29 yards, all coming against Arkansas (9/4).

High School: Jones was a two-year starter and a three-year letterwinner. He played fullback, rushing for 550 yards and five touchdowns as a junior and 330 yards and six touchdowns as a senior. He was an honorable mention All-District 12-5A pick as a senior.

Personal: Clint was born in Dallas, Texas, and went to High School in Mesquite. He is the son of Christell and Calvin Jones.
