2006: Marton played in the first game of the season as a defensive back for the Aggies, until he suffered a season-ending injury against Southeastern Louisiana (8/31).  He recorded a tackle during that game.

2005 (Junior):  Marton played in 11 of 12 games for the Aggies at the defensive back position.  In those 11 games he recorded ten tackles.  Four tackles were unassisted while six were assisted.  Marton recovered two fumbles on the season.  His first career fumble recovery came against Colorado (9/10) and his second came during the Aggies homecoming game against Idaho (10/29).  He also broke-up his first pass against Idaho.  

Palomar Junior College: In 2004, Marton had four interceptions for 38 yards as a starting cornerback at Palomar Junior College. He had an interception and a fumble recovery against Fullerton College. He also had two interceptions against Golden West College. Marton played in two games on special teams at Air Force as a freshman in 2003.

High School:  In 2004, Marton had four interceptions for 38 yards as a starting cornerback at Palomar Junior College. He had an interception and a fumble recovery against Fullerton College. Marton was a first team All-Conference pick as a senior at Carlsbad High School, helping the team to the CIF southern section title. He was also a four-year letterwinner in track.

Personal: Cole Michael Marton was born in Sacramento, Calif. and is the son of Jeffrey and Paula Marton. He has not decided on a major at New Mexcio State.
