2010 (Redshirt Freshman): Swenson did not play for the Aggies in 2010.

2009 (Freshman): Swenson redshirted his freshman year at NM State.

High School: Swenson was a starter on the offensive and defensive line for Montwood High School in 2008 and played on the defensive line in 2007. During his senior season, Swenson helped the Rams offense rush for over 2,000 yards on the ground and throw for over 1,500 yards thru the air. He was also a member of the field goal and extra point teams. On the defensive side of the ball, Swenson recorded over 10 sacks and 69 tackles on the season. He was named a first team all-District selection and a first team all-City pick as well. Swenson also played in the Senior All-Star Football Classic as a senior. As a junior, Swenson played on the defensive side of the ball, recording 31 tackles and six sacks. He was named a second team all-City selection and a first team all-District pick.

Personal: Swenson is the son of Gary and Angie Swenson. He plans to major in business at NM State.
