2005: Quick will play a key role in the Aggies passing attack this season.
2004 (Junior): Quick was fifth for the Aggies in receiving with 307 yards last season, playing in nine games. On the season, Quick caught 20 balls for an average of 15.4 yeards per catch and 34.1 yards per game. Against Middle Tennessee (11/6), Quick had two catches for 66 yards and one touchdown. His best game of the season came against Utah State (11/20), when he caught five balls for a team season-high 130 yards.
2003 (Sophomore): Quick had an excellent season, catching 14 passes for 252 yards and a touchdown. His 18 yards-per-reception average was tops on the team in 2003. Twelve of Quick’s 14 receptions were good for a first down. He was tied for fourth in pass receptions and fourth in receiving yards. Quick finished the season with a bang, registering 13 of his 14 catches for 235 yards and a touchdown over the final six games. He had a career-long 43 yard reception against UL Lafayette (10/16), and grabbed a career-best five passes for 66 yards and a touchdown against Arkansas State. He caught a 32-yard pass from Buck Pierce for a first quarter touchdown. He had two catches apiece in the final three games including a pair of catches for 63 yards against North Texas (11/25). His first career reception was a 17-yard grab against nationally ranked Texas (8/31) in the season opener.
2002 (Redshirt Freshman): Quick played in all 12 games lin 2002 for the Aggies and earned his first letter. He played on the Aggie punt return and kickoff return teams.
2001 (Freshman): Jared was a redshirt his first season at NMSU.
High School: Jared played at Lake Travis High School in Austin, Texas.
Personal: Jared is the son of Karen and Bill Conlee and is majoring in Biology/ Pre-Med.
