Biography

2008 (Sophomore): Buschmann played in just four games during the 2008 season before suffering a shoulder injury that forced him to the sidelines. His only start of the season came against New Mexico (9/27) as the Aggies passed for 382 yards and three touchdowns.

 

2007 (Redshirt Freshman): Buschmann played in the Aggies’ first game of the season against Southeastern Louisiana State, blocking for quarterback Chase Holbrook as he threw for 280 yards and four touchdowns.

 

2006 (Freshman): Buschmann was a redshirt throughout the season.

 

High School: Buschmann was a first team All-Centennial League selection for Columbine High School in 2005. He helped lead his team to a 10-2 record overall in 2005 and advanced to the second round of the 5A State playoffs. Buschmann also earned first team All-Colorado honors after helping Columbine rush for over 4,100 yards as a team in 2005. He was also recruited by Colorado, Iowa State, Michigan, Oregon and Oklahoma.

 

Personal: He is the son of John and Janet Buschmann. While at NM State he plans to study sports medicine.
