Biography

2004: After joining the program during fall camp a year ago, Holland has made a significant impact and should see plenty of playing time at cornerback.

2003 (Junior): Holland came on strong at the end of the year, registering 16 of his 21 tackles over the final four games of the season. He made a start against Utah State (11/6), registering five tackles and recovered a fumble on a kickoff return that led to the Aggies’ first lead in a 26-21 victory. With the Aggies trailing 7-6, Holland recovered a fumble on the USU 10-yard line. Three plays later the Aggies scored a touchdown to grab a 12-7 lead. The previous week against Arkansas State (11/1), Holland made a career-high five tackles and broke up two passes. The week after the Utah State game, Holland had four tackles against the Arkansas Razorbacks (11/15).

Junior College: Holland helped Fresno City College to a 9-2 record in 2002.

High School: Johnathan helped the Edison High School Tigers to a league title in 1999 & 2000.

Personal: Johnathan Maurice Holland was in Fresno, Calif. and is the son of Paul and Darlene Holland. He is majoring in Communications.
