2005 (Sophomore): Buries led the way for the Aggie ground attack in 2005 with 779 yards, 4.2 yards per carry and a team leading five rushing touchdowns in 11 games. He finished third in the conference and 71st in the nation in rushing with 70.8 yards per game.  Buries was also a threat in the air, catching 23 passes for 141 yards, 6.1 yards per reception and a touchdown. In just his second start, Buries rushed for a career-high 115 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries against New Mexico (9/17). That sparked a three-game string of 100-yard rushing games for Buries, as he rushed for 107 yards against both Cal (9/23) and La. Tech (10/1). Buries was the first Aggie to rush for at least 100 yards in three consecutive games since Chris Barnes had three consecutive century busting games during the 2000 season. He recorded his fourth 100-yard game against Idaho (10/29) on a career-high 26 carries and a touchdown. His fifth 100-yard game almost came against Hawai’i (10/15), as Buries carried the ball 23 times for 99 yards in the first half before cramps sidelined him for the remainder of the game. He also recorded a season-high two rushing touchdowns against Hawai’i (10/15). Against Fresno State (10/8) Buries caught a career-high four passes for 20 yards, followed by a career-high 29 yards receiving on three catches against Hawai’i (10/15). His only touchdown reception of the season came against Idaho (10/29), on an 8-yard pass from Joey Vincent. Buries was first on the team in all-purpose yards with 920, 83.6 yards per game.

2004 (Freshman): Buries was the Aggies’ second leading rusher in 2004, seeing action in all 11 games with 260 total yards, averaging 23.6 yards per game and 3.3 yards per carry. In his Aggie debut, Buries rushed for 40 yards on 12 attempts against Southeastern Conference powerhouse Arkansas (9/4). Against New Mexico (9/24) Buries rushed for 45 yards on 15 carries. Buries then scored two rushing touchdowns against UL Lafayette (10/9), rushing for 27 yards in the game. His two touchdowns was a team high for the season for touchdowns in a game. Buries also scored touchdowns against North Texas (10/23) and Florida Atlantic (11/13). Buries’ best game as a freshman came against Middle Tennessee (11/6), as he rushed for 49 yards on nine carries.
