Biography

2009 (Junior): Hipp played in 12 games for the Aggies in 2009. At the tight end position, Hipp grabbed four catches for 23 yards on the year. At Louisiana Tech (10/17), Hipp caught one pass for four yards, his first career catch as an Aggie. Versus Hawai’i (11/14), Hipp recorded his first multi-reception game with two catches for 15 yards, both career highs.

Grossmont College: Hipp caught 27 passes for 483 yards and seven touchdowns during his three years at Grossmont College. In 2008, he caught 16 passes for 280 yards and three touchdowns, earning first team all-Conference, first team all-American and the Joe Roth Memorial Award. In 2007, Hipp caught 11 passes for 203 yards and four touchdowns. Hipp redshirted in 2006.

High School: At Cathedral Catholic High School, Hipp competed in football, wrestling and lacrosse. He helped the football team to an Eastern League championship in 2004 and an appearance in the CIF semifinals in 2004 and 2005. Hipp caught eight passes for 152 yards and a touchdown while in high school.

Personal: Hipp is the son of Mike and Ginger Hipp. He plans to major in kinesiology.
