2006: Murray played in nine games and started eight at defensive end for the Aggies. He tallied 24 tackles, seven solo and 17 assisted and had two tackles for-a-loss. He had a season-high seven tackles against No. 15 Boise State (10/15). Verses UTEP (9/30) he tallied six tackles and against New Mexico (9/9) he accumulated three tackles and had two tackles for-a-loss.
2005: Murray did not play during the 2005 season.
Long Beach CC: Murray is a mid-year transfer from Long Beach City College. In 10 games in 2004, Murray had 38 total tackles, four for loss, 12 sacks, 15 hurries, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one interception, helping Long Beach CC to a 7-5 record including five wins in its last six games. He was a second team All-Mission Conference American Division selection. The Vikings won the Mission Conference American Bowl and advanced to the second round of the Southern California playoffs. He had a season high eight tackles against the No. 3 team in the nation, Grossmont Junior College.
High School: Murray played three years at Long Beach Poly High under head coach Jerry Jaso. In his three years, the Jackrabbits went 42-2, including three Harry J. Moore League Championships, along with three state
championships. Murray was invited to play in the 2002 California vs. Florida Bowl.
Personal: Murray grew up in Long Beach, Calif., and is the son of Vivian Roundtree. He is majoring in Communications.
