2006 (Junior): Brewer competed in eight games, starting one at linebacker for the Aggies. He posted 18 tackles, eight solo and 18 assisted. He had a season-high five tackles against Idaho (10/7). He made three tackles against Texas Southern (9/16), No. 15 Boise State and Hawaii (10/21). He also recorded one tackle-for-a-loss against Hawaii (10/21).
2005 (Sophomore): Brewer played in eight games for the Aggies and ended the season with nine total tackles, two solo and seven assisted. Brewer recorded a season-high two tackles four times against Cal (9/23), Louisiana Tech (10/1), Nevada (11/12) and San Jose State (11/19).
2004 (Freshman): In his first season with the Aggies, Brewer compiled 29 tackles, 13 were solo, while playing all 11 games at rush end. Brewer had a career-high four tackles in games against Arkansas (9/4), Louisiana-Lafayette (10/9) and Middle Tennessee (11/6). Three of his 29 tackles came for a loss of four yards. Brewer had the only interception of his career against Middle Tennessee.
High School: Brewer attended Liberty-Eylau High School in Texarkana, Texas and was named 12-3A All-District at the defensive end position in 2003. He also served as team captain and was named team MVP that year. Brewer was also a member of the honor roll in high school.
Personal: Michael was born and raised in Texarkana, Texas. He is the son of Henry and Algie Brewer and is planning to major in Mecahnical Engineering.
