Biography

2007 (Red Shirt Junior): Long played in seven games for the Aggies on the defensive line. He recorded five tackles and a tackle-for-a-loss. Against Southeastern Louisiana (8/30) he tallied a season-high two tackles. He also recorded tackles against Auburn (9/22), Louisiana Tech (10/13) and San Jose State (11/10).

 

2006 (Junior): Long was a red-shirt throughout the season.

 

Alcorn State: Long played in 11 games for Alcorn State in 2005, recording 28 tackles and eight tackles for a loss. He also grabbed two sacks and an interception. In 2004, Long played in 11 games, starting five. He notched 14 tackles and three tackles for a loss. His best game came against SE Louisiana when he managed a season-high three tackles.

 

High School: In high school long earned three letters in football and two in basketball at St. Louis. His best game was versus Maui Baldwin where he recorded six tackles in addition to two sacks.

 

Personal: Oren is the son of Collins and Deborah Long. He plans to major in Kinesiology.
