Biography

2005: Ford should see a lot of play time at the nose guard position.

2004 (Junior): Ford played in seven of the Aggies’ 11 games at defensive tackle, compiling one solo tackle and six assists for a total seven tackles. Three of Ford’s tackles were for a loss of three yards. Ford’s best game came at UTEP (10/2), where he compiled two tackles, one for a loss of two yards. His lone solo tackle took place in the Aggies’ final game of the season at Utah State (11/20).

2003 (Sophomore): Ford played in the first two games of the year. He had one tackle against Texas (8/31) and two against Western New Mexico (9/6).

2002 (Redshirt Freshman): Ford did not see any playing time in 2002.

2001 (Freshman): Sam redshirted his first year at NMSU.

High School: Ford led Kenwood Academy in tackles for three consecutive seasons.

Personal: Samuel C. Ford, VI is the son of Samuel C. Ford, III and Nora E. Taylor and was born in Chicago, Illinois. He is majoring in Criminal Justice.
