Biography

2005: Zach will fight for time this fall at the left end position. He had a great spring and is second on the depth chart and the left end position.

2004 (Freshman): Monono played in five games for the Aggies, recording three tackles on the season. Monono managed a solo tackle against #12 California (9/11) and two more tackles against UTEP (10/2), both tackles for a loss of four yards.

High School: Zach was a three-year starter at offensive guard and defensive tackle at Ralston High School. He was an all-district B-2 pick as a junior and a senior and a Class B pick as a senior. He led the team in tackles with 72 including six tackles for loss, four quarterback sacks, and six quarterback hurries. Monono played on a Ralston team that advanced to the Class B state title game in 2002 with a 9-4 record.

Personal: Zach was born and raised in Omaha, Neb., and is the son of Mark and Mari Morono. He is undeclared in a major.
