2008 Outdoor (Freshman):  McLiechey competed in the 100-meters, 200-meter, 400-meter dashes and the relays for NMSU last season.  In the 100-meter dash she posted a time of 12.57 at the Willie Williams Classic (March 21) and in the 200-meter dash she set her strongest time of the season at the Ram Open (April 19) when she crossed the finish line with a time of 25.44.  However, her strongest mark of the season, in the 400-meter dash, came at the WAC Championships (May 15-17) as she recorded a personal-best time of 56.17, which placed her fourth on the NMSU all-time record list.

Indoor:  McLiechey competed in the 200-meter and 400-meter dash for the Aggies during the indoor season.  At the Southwest Classic, in Tucson, Ariz., McLiechey posted season-best marks in both events.  In the 200-meter dash she crossed the finish line with a time of 26.89 and in the 400-meter dash she posted a time of 58.81, which also ranks sixth on the NMSU all-time record list.

High School: McLiechey is a 2007 graduate of Vallejo High School, in Vallejo, Calif., where she was a three-year letter winner. As a senior, McLiechey was a California section champion in the 400-meter and 200-meter dash. She is also a record holder on the 4x100-meter team at her high school. As a junior, McLiechey placed seventh in the 400-meter relay at the California State Championships (CIF).
