2009 Outdoor (Junior): In her third season in Crimson and White, Sparks added much depth to the throwing squad.  She posted both of her season-best throws at the UTEP Invitational (April 11). The first was in the hammer when she recorded a distance of 130-10 and the second was in the shot put when she recorded a toss of 40-3.25. 

2008 Outdoor (Sophomore): During the outdoor season, Sparks competed in multiple throwing events for the Aggies.  At the UTEP Invitational, she recorded her strongest mark of the season in the shot put with a throw of 37-01.25.  In the discus throw Sparks recorded a throw of 107-7 and a launch of 120-00 in the hammer.  Both of these marks were set at the Don Kirby Memorial Invitational (May 3). 

Indoor: Sparks competed in the shot put at the Texas Tech Invitational (Jan. 18).

2007 Outdoor (Freshman): Sparks added strong depth in multiple throwing events for the Aggies. At the Don Kirby Invitational (April 28), Sparks recorded a season best in the hammer throw with a launch of 136-02. At the Triton Invitational (April 21), she posted a personal best in the shot put with a throw of 37-8.75.

Indoor: At the Texas Tech Open (Feb. 3), she posted a career-best mark of 35-2.25 in the shot put and in the weight throw she recorded a mark of 38-0.

High School: Sparks lettered in track and field, soccer and basketball at Ruidoso High School. She was also played in the all-star North and South basketball game.

Personal: Sparks is the daughter of Wyatt and Jeri Sparks and is pursuing a degree in nursing.
