Biography
2013 Indoor (Freshman): Gonzales competed in a variety of short distance and relay events for the Aggies for her freshman year in the 2013 indoor track and field season.? Gonzales ran her best time in the 400m at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic (Feb. 1) when she posted a time of 58.48 to rank 10th all-time for NM State.? Gonzales also ran the 200m, posting her season-best time of 26.22 at the New Mexico Cherry and Silver Invitational (Jan. 18).? Gonzales participated in the 4x400m relay throughout the season, assisting her team to a season-best time of 3:45.53 at the New Mexico Collegiate Invitational (Jan. 25), which ranks second all-time for NM State.? Gonzales also ran in the 4,000m distance medley at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic and the WAC Indoor Championships (Feb. 21).? Gonzales helped the Aggies place a time of 12:30.79 at the WAC Championships to place sixth all-time for NM State.
High School: Gonzales attended Alamogordo High School in Alamogordo, N.M., where she competed as a sprinter for track and field.? Gonzales also played soccer while in high school.
Personal: Gonzales was born in Fredrick, Md., and is the daughter of Tony Gonzales and Janine Salmon.? She is currently undecided with her major.
