2012 Outdoor (Junior): Aldredge ran the 200m and the
400m for the Aggies in the 2012 outdoor season, setting or improving on school
records in each event. Aldredge set the
all-time school record for the 400m at the WAC Championships (May 8) when she
placed first with a time of 53.41.
Aldredge was also named to the first team All-WAC with her
record-setting performance. Aldredge
also set the fifth overall school record for the 200m at the Texas State Bobcat
Classic (April 27) with a time of 24.12.
Each of these results are both season-best and career-best marks for
Aldredge. Aldredge was named to the
first team All-WAC for both the 4x100m relay and the 4x400m relay. Aldredge was named as WAC Athlete of the Week
on three different occasions during the 2012 outdoor season due to her
consistently strong performance during the season. Aldredge won the award on the week of April
16-22, March 12-18, and March 19-25. Aldredge
was also one of four Aggie athletes to compete in the NCAA Preliminary round.
2012 Indoor (Junior): Aldredge
was named to the first team all-WAC in the 400m and the 4x400m relay. Aldredge was named to the academic all-WAC
team and is credited for two all-time school records during her junior
season. Aldredge broke the all-time
school record for the 400m when she marked a time of 54.82 at the Air Force
Invitational (Feb. 10). Aldredge also
ran the 4x400m relay, contributing to her team's season-best time of 3:46.22 at
the WAC Indoor Championships, which is now the all-time school record for the
event. Aldredge posted her season-best
time for the 200m at the WAC Indoor Championships (Feb. 23) with a time of
24.36. Her time in the 200m was also a
career-best time and currently ranks third all-time for NM State. Aldredge also
competed in the 4,000m distance medley at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic
(Feb. 3).
2011 Outdoor (Sophomore): Aldredge had a busy outdoor track season in
2011, running multiple short distance events at every meet. Aldredge
contributed to her best 4x400m relay time at the WAC Outdoor Championships with
a time of 3:45.21. Aldredge also ran the 4x100m relay, posting her best
time of 45.91 at the Bobcat Invitational. Aldredge also ran short
distance individual events of the 200m and 400m as well. Aldredge posted
her best time of 24.43 for the 200m at the UTEP Springtime and her best time of
54.72 for the 400m at the UTEP Invitational.
2011 Indoor (Sophomore): Aldredge ran a variety of short distance
events for the Aggies during the 2011 indoor season. Aldredge marked two
of her season-best times at the WAC Indoor Championships. Aldredge posted
a time of 56.24 in the 400m and 3:47.78 in the 4x400m relay at the WAC Indoor
Championships. Aldredge also ran the 200m occasionally, posting her best
time of 25.33 at the New Mexico Cherry and Silver Invitational.
2010 Outdoor (Freshman): Aldredge became second on the NM State
all-time record list in the 400m dash with a time of 55.81 at the UTEP
Invite. Aldredge was also on the 4x400m relay team that finished in a
time of 3:47.21 at the WAC Outdoor Championships, which was good enough for
fifth all-time for NM State. Aldredge was also named second team All-WAC
for her performance at the WAC Championships in the 400m where she finished in
a time of 55.88. Aldredge competed in the 200m as well, with her best
time also coming at the UTEP Invite where she finished in 25.18.
2010 Indoor (Freshman): As a freshman Aldredge broke the NM State
all-time record in the indoor 400m dash with a time of 56.51 at the WAC
Championships. In Boise, Idaho, Aldredge also clocked in with the eighth
fastest time in NM State history in the 200m dash with a time of 25.47 at the
Southwest Classic Invite in Flagstaff, Ariz. Aldredge was also a member
of the 4,000m distance medley team that broke the NM State all-time record by
finishing in 11:58.15 at the WAC Championships and earning her second team
All-WAC honors. The distance medley squad beat the previous Aggie record
by more than 25 seconds. Aldredge competed in the 4x400m relays for NM
State as well, with the team's best time coming at the New Mexico Invitational
with a time of 4:04.10.
High School: Aldredge graduated from Central East High
School in Fresno, Calif., before joining the Aggies. Aldredge was a four-year
letter winner in track and field and also lettered in cheerleading. She was a
gold medalist in the 4x400 relay and a bronze medalist in multiple events at
the 2008 Down Under International Sports Games in Australia. She was the Clovis
PAL Athlete of the Year in 2008 as well. Aldredge was the Central Valley's
400-meter champion in 2009 and a four-time state qualifier in the 400-meter
run. Aldredge was named to the 2007 girls' all-star honorable mention list and
was part of the 2009 spring all star girls track and field first team.
Personal: Aldredge is the daughter of Gaylon and
LaShell Aldredge and was born in Fresno, Calif. She plans to major in
criminology.
