2017-18: Competed in three tournaments as a junior…shot a season-low round of 72 at the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate…posted a season-low 219 (+6) at the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate.

2016-17: Competed in six tournaments as a sophomore...posted a career-low round of 68 at the Cal Poly Shootout...shot a season-low 223 (+7) to finish in a tie for 27th in Cal Poly...posted a 77.38 stroke average over 16 rounds of play.

2015-16: Played in all 11 tournaments as a freshman for NM State…posted a 13-over 229 at the NIU Intercollegiate in his first college appearance and shot a 79 in his first round as a collegian…his 5-over 221 at the National Invitational Tournament was his best three-round score…followed up with a 6-over 150 at a rain-filled Border Olympics that saw the first round washed out…picked up his first top-25 finish at the Western Athletic Conference Championship with a 12-over 228 card at a tough Loomis Trail Golf Course…named to the WAC All-Freshman/Transfer Team.
 
High School: Was an individual state runner-up and 3-5A district champion as a freshman at Las Cruces High School…took home three-straight individual state championships to wrap up his prep career, two in class 5A and one in class 6A…was the youngest player to repeat as state champion…played in a trio of tournaments in the Future Collegians World Tour…best finish came at the FCWT at Omni Tucson National Tournament where he finished in a tie for 20th with a 4-over 155 card…competed at the Junior World Golf Championships every year since he was 10.
 
Personal: Son of Hwiman Chung and Yunhi Choi…has an older sister, Hae-Na…father is a professor at New Mexico State University…majoring in professional golf management.
