Biography

 

Junior: Baade played in six tournaments in 2011-12 for the Aggies, averaging 77.7 strokes per round, and recorded two rounds of even or under par golf for the season.  Baade had one top-10 finish in 2011-12 at the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate (10/24-25). He carded 8-over par, 221 and tied for 47th overall.  Baade shot 7-over par and finished ninth overall at the two-round 2012 New Mexico Cup (2/4).

Sophomore: Baade played in four tournaments for the Aggies in 2010-11, averaging 76.45 strokes per round average. He recorded one top-5 finish and his lowest round of the year was a 72. Baade's best finish came at the 2011 New Mexico Collegiate Cup (Feb./13) where he tied for fifth overall with a score of 10-over par, 154. He placed 27th at the 2011 Fresno State Lexus Classic (March/7-8), carding a 7-over par, 223. At the Aggies home tournament, the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate (Oct./25-26) Baade placed tied for 67th with a score of 19-over par, 232.
Freshman: Baade played in five tournaments in 2009-10, recording a 76.42 stroke per round average and three rounds of even par or better. His first collegiate tournament was the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate (10/26-27), as he carded a 4-over par, 217, finishing tied for 41st. Baade followed that performance by tying for 36th overall at the Turtle Bay College Invitational (11/2-4) with a three-round score of 7-over par. He would tie for 24th at the New Mexico Collegiate Cup (2/6). Baade also competed in the Wyoming Cowboy Classic (4/5-6) placing 117th overall with a three-round score of 26-over par.
High School: Baade was a three-time conference champion for Savannah High School in Savannah, Mo. He was named the team's MVP four years straight, helping his team to league championships in 2007 and 2009, as well as a second-place finish in the district in 2007 and 2008. His best round in high school was a 5-under par, 67 as he recorded seven straight birdies during the round. Baade also won the 2007 Class 3A State championship. He once carded a 6-under par, 30 in a nine-hole match. Baade also played in the 2007 United States Junior Amateur tournament.
Personal: Baade is the son of Norman and Laura Baade. He plans to major in business.
