Biography
Red Shirt Freshman: Machado competed in three tournaments for the Aggies in 2007-08 and averaged 78.44 strokes per round in nine rounds of play. He fired one round at even/under par when he shot a 71 as an individual in the second round of the Ron Moore Invitational (3/21-23). There he tied for 12th as a part of the individual tournament making it his best finish of the year.
Freshman: Machado did not participate in any tournaments in 2006-07.
High School: Machado played at La Cueva High School. He helped the team become Metro-City Champions in 2006. That year, Machado also tied the La Cueva High School record for the lowest fall scoring average. His average that fall was 70.33.
Personal: Max Machado is the son of Carlos and Kay Machado. He was born in Santa Fe, N.M. and is pursuing a degree in Graphic Design and Business.
