Biography
Junior: Goff participated in 11 tournaments during his junior season as an Aggie. His 66 in the second round of the Pioneer Classic in Goodyear, Ariz, March 15, 2005, was the best round of any Aggie for the season. It was at this tournament where Goff had his best outing of the season. He finished the tournament with a 2-under par-214. Goff also had the best finish out of all Aggies in the Sun Belt Conference Championships. There he scored 67-81-72?218 (+2) for a seventh place finish.
Sophomore: Goff competed in six tournament for the Aggies. His best finish came at the Northwest Collegiate Classic (9/25-26) where he tied for 43rd with scores of 76-70-76--222. His 70 in the second round was a season-low round. He finished the season with a scoring average of 76.17.
Freshman: He played in four tournaments in 2002-2003 year as a freshman and posted a scoring average of 79.33. His best finish was a tie for 85th at the USAF Falcon Invitational where he shot a three-round score of 234.
High School: Robert helped lead Clovis High School to two straight third place finishes in the state championships (2001, 2002). He finished fourth individually in 2001 and eighth individually in 2002. He led the team to two straight district titles (2001, 2002) and was the team MVP and posted lowest scoring average on team in 2001 and 2002.
Personal: Robert Matthew Goff was born in Clovis, N.M. He is the son of Jim and Veronica Goff. He is majoring in Business Computer Systems.
