Biography

Senior (2015-16): Fall: Had a great fall season, going 10-5 in singles and 5-7 in doubles…advanced to the semifinals of both the Aggie Invitational and Arizona Invitational before winning three-straight to claim in the single title at the Balloon Fiesta Invite with a 6-2, 2-6, 6-1 victory over teammate Enrique Asmar for the championships…collected wins over Sanjay Goswamy of Weber State 6-3, 6-0 and Bar Van Leijsen of No. 40 New Mexico 7-6, 6-3 at the USTA/ITA Mountain Regional Championships.
 
Junior (2014-15): Amassed double-digit wins during dual season for the second-consecutive year…finished the season 11-11 in singles play, with 11 wins coming in the No. 5 spot…garnered first win of the season at the No. 2 spot, defeating Weber State’s Todd Fought 5-7, 6-2, 6-3…in doubles play, completed the campaign with a 3-3 record…tallied a postseason win in the Western Athletic Conference Tournament semifinal against Seattle U…during the fall, tournament season, he claimed the singles White Flight title at the Aggie Invitational, and was co-champion in doubles alongside Thomas Douglas…competed in the Balloon Fiesta Invitational in Albuquerque N.M… earned WAC Athlete of the Month honors in September…was named a scholar athlete by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association…also selected to the WAC All-Academic team.
 
Sophomore (2013-14): Made a statement early in his Aggie career by breezing to a two-set win over his opponent from in-state rival New Mexico, 6-0, 6-4, earning the Aggie Invitational title…of the four matches on the weekend, only one match needed three sets…during the spring season, he went 10-8 with four wins at No. 3 and No. 4 singles.
 
Prior to NM State: Joined the Aggies from Lake Erie College...finished the 2013 season with a 14-3 singles record at the No. 1 position...finished doubles play with a 6-11 record at the top spot as well...started the 2013 dual season with an eight-match winning streak, winning each in straight sets...only lost seven sets all season and was named first first-team selection for his work on the court.
