Biography

Senior (2015-16): Fall: Wrapped up his final fall season at NM State 9-4 in singles play and 5-7 in doubles action…reached the semifinals of the Aggie Invitational…won four-straight to claimt he singles title at the Arizona Invitational, racking up wins over opponents from No. 21 Minnesota, Arizona and No. 38 San Diego State…ousted Isaac Perez from Air Force 6-1, 6-2 and No. 40 New Mexico’s Rodolfo Jauregui 6-3, 6-2 at the Balloon Fiest Invite…defeated Odon Barta of Idaho in a three-set thriller 7-6, 1-6, 6-4 at the USTA/ITA Mountain Regional Championships…won three-straight to open the fall season in doubles play with Liam Goldberg before falling to fellow teammates Enrique Asmar and Nicholas Springer in the championship match at the Aggie Invitational...opened doubles flight at the Balloon Fiesta Invite with an 8-3 win over Air Force’s Nicholas Carpenter and Isaac Perez…also downed Arizona’s Will Kneale and Matt Dunn 8-5 in the same tournament.
 
Junior (2014-15): Finished season an 11-19 singles record playing at the No. 1 spot… earned first singles win of the season against Weber State (Feb. 8)…finished season with a 5-8 record in doubles play…going 2-2 with Patrick Pfister, 0-2 with Christofer Goncalves, 1-4 with Paul Denele and 2-0 with Liam Goldberg…was a finalist in the doubles bracket at the Aggie Invitational and Balloon Fiesta Invitationa with Pfister during the fall season…reached round of 16 in doubles at the UTSA/ITA Mountain Regional Championships with Pfister…was named a scholar athlete by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association and also selected to the WAC All-Academic team. 
 
Sophomore (2013-14): Had an 8-10 record in singles play with a 2-0 record against WAC opponents...broke a two game losing streak with his first win of the spring season against UC Riverside in three sets...went 5-6 at the No. 1 singles spot that included a three-match winning streak in February...also finished the season on a four-match hot streak, two of those wins came during the 2014 WAC Tournament…went 7-7 in the spring season and had the most success with Germain Degardin, posting a 5-2 record to go with a five game winning streak...breezed to the finals of the Aggie Invitational before falling in three sets in the finals... won one match at the UNM Balloon Fiesta Invitational against Andrew Van der Vyver of No. 60 New Mexico... teamed up with Jeremy Harlas to reach the Aggie Invitational doubles finals before falling to NAU’s team 8-2...was named First-Team All-WAC in singles.
 
Freshman (2012-13): Played four matches at the No. 6 spot during the spring season for NM State…finished 2013 with a 3-0 record in WAC play with one match going unfinished...picked up five more wins early in the fall for a singles record of 8-6...went 3-2 during the Aggie Invitational with wins over Arizona and two opponents from No. 25 Western New Mexico...in doubles play, Trecakov and Eduardo Cabrita went 3-5 in the fall...the duo picked up a win over their No. 25 WNMU counterparts in the consolation bracket of the Aggie Invitational and earned an 8-1 win over their opponents from 58th-ranked Denver at the UNM Balloon Fiesta Invitational
