2013 Indoor (Junior): Meade’s 2013 indoor season was highlighted by her individual championship and first team All-WAC in the pentathlon at the WAC Championships (Feb. 21) where she accumulated 3,735 points, which is also a top overall school record. Meade also competed in the high jump and the long jump at the WAC Championships as well, finishing in the top 10 overall for each event. In the long jump at the WAC Championships, Meade marked a distance of 5.49m, ranking her seventh all-time for NM State. Meade also competed in the 60m hurdles, 200m and the 4x400m relay during the season. Meade’s best 60m hurdle time came at the WAC Championships and her best 200m time came at the New Mexico Cherry and Silver Invitational (Jan. 25) when she ran a time of 26.00. Meade and her teammates’ best time in the 4x400m relay came at the New Mexico Collegiate Invitational (Jan. 25) where the team ran a time of 3:52.53, placing 10th all-time for NM State.
2012 Outdoor (Sophomore): Meade concluded an outstanding sophomore year with numerous records and conference honors. Meade received All-Academic honors for the 2012 season. Meade finished first overall in the women's heptathlon with a score of 5,109 at the WAC Championships (May 8). Not only did her first place finish earn her first team All-WAC honors, but it also placed her first all-time in the NM State record books for the event. Meade also competed in the long jump, marking her season-best distance of 5.88m at 2012 Texas State Bobcat Classic (April 27), placing her sixth all-time for NM State. Meade also participated in the 4x100m relay and 4x400m relay throughout the season. Meade was a member of the 4x400m relay team, which broke the all-time school record and earned first team All-WAC honors with a time of 3:42.29 at the WAC Championships. Meade also ran with a 4x400m relay team at the UTEP Springtime Invitational (March 24) that ran a time of 3:45.76, which places the time fifth all-time for NM State.
2012 Indoor (Sophomore): Meade was named to first team all-WAC in the pentathlon and second team all-WAC in the 4x400m relay. Meade was one of 16 Aggies to be named to the academic all-WAC team in 2012. Meade competed in sprints, hurdles, jumps and relays for the Aggies in the 2012 season. Meade marked her best distance of 5.78m in the long jump at the Texas Tech Open (Jan. 13), which is tied for fourth all-time for NM State. Meade was a member of the 4x400m relay team that broke the all-time NM State record with a time of 3:46.22 at the WAC Indoor Championships (Feb. 23). Meade posted her season-best time of 25.20 in the 200m at the New Mexico Collegiate Invitational (Jan. 27). Meade competed in the high jump, marking her season-best height of 1.65m at the WAC Indoor Championships. Meade also ran the 800m at the WAC Championships, posting a time of 2:25.83. Meade ran the 400m at the Air Force Invitational (Feb. 10), posting a time of 57.83, which was less than one second from breaking her career record in the event.
2011 Outdoor (Freshman): Meade ran the 2011 outdoor season with a full slate of events, posting a vast majority of her season-best results at the Western Athletic Conference Championships. Meade threw the javelin and the shot put in the WAC Championships, posting season-best distances of 23.59m and 11.03m respectively. Meade also participated in the high jump and long jump, posting distances of 1.67m and 5.40m respectively for her season-best marks. Meade also ran the 100m hurdle at the WAC Championships, posting a season-best time of 15.80. Meade also ran the 4x400m relay in the WAC Championships, helping her teammates post a time of 3:45.21. Meade's best 200m time of 24.67 came at the Texas Tech Open.
2011 Indoor (Freshman): Meade participated in various sprinting, jumping and throwing events during the 2011 indoor season, earning herself a trip to the Western Athletic Conference Championships as a freshman. Meade recorded her season-best distance in the shot put of 10.46m and her season-best time of 3:47.78 in the 4x400m at the WAC Championships. Meade ran the 400m, 200m and the 60m hurdle during the season as well. Meade posted her best 400m time of 56.46 at the New Mexico Collegiate Invitational, 200m time of 25.10 at the new Mexico Collegiate and Classic Combined and 60m hurdle 9.43 at the UNM Don Kirby Invitational. Meade also participated in the high jump and the long jump, posting her best high jump of 1.70m at the UNM Lobo Collegiate Open and long jump of 5.32m at the UNM Don Kirby Invitational.
High School: Meade won the state championship in the high jump during the 2009 season with a jump of 5'5" while attending Las Cruces High School. The following season Meade transferred to Onate High School where she won state again, but this time she won in the 400m and the 800m relay. Meade also set three high school records, along with finishing runner-up in the high jump and fifth place in the heptathlon at the Great Southwest Invite. Meade also finished in the top 10 in the pentathlon at the Nike Indoor Track Meet while in high school.
Personal: Meade is the daughter of David Meade and Debbie Swansburg and plans to major in Criminal Justice and Psychology.
