Junior (2010): Villalobos made 10 appearances
in Crimson and White all in relief with no decisions and a 5.04 ERA. She threw
16.2 innings of work allowing 12 runs, 24 hits and just three walks while
striking out 11.
At Oklahoma State (2009): Villalobos made 15 appearances
for the Cowgirls and posted a 2-2 record with a 2.93 ERA. She started two games
and had one shutout. In her 31.1 innings of work she surrendered 34 hits, but
just 13 earned runs while fanning 15 batters.
At Central Arizona College (2008): Villalobos' 26-7 record at CAC
in 2008 was the best win/loss record in the Arizona Community College Athletic
Conference. She was selected to the all-ACCAC second team and was twice honored
as the NJCAA Region I pitcher of the Week. In 41 appearances she accumulated a
1.53 ERA in 219 innings of work. In her year at CAC she struck out 181 batters
and had a 3:1 strikeout-to-walk ratio. She led Central Arizona to a 58-11
record overall, including a 22-10 mark in the ACCAC. Villalobos led CAC into
the NJCAA Division I rankings, where they appeared as No. 6 on two occasions
and finished the year at No. 16.
High School: Villalobos was a first team
All-Valley League and selected as an all-section team member as a senior by the
San Diego Union-Tribune. That year she was also named to the all-section second
team by the Hall of Champions. Villalobos batted .415 her senior year and had a
1.17 ERA playing under her father, Andy Villalobos. She compiled a 17-6 record
as a pitcher and her team finished 19-9, including an 8-4 league record for a
second place finish. She had 146 strikeouts in 150 innings of work as a senior.
She was voted the Most Valuable Player and Most Valuable Pitcher three times by
her team and was a four-time All-Valley League first team honoree. Villalobos
also played soccer for two years at San Pasqual High School.
Personal: Villalobos is the daughter of Andy and Teri
Villalobos. She has a brother, Jacob, and a sister, Annie.
