Sophomore (2011): For
the second straight season, Olive made 20 starts for the Aggies. Overall, she
made 40 appearances mostly in the outfield. Olive hit .275 at the plate with a
.290 slugging percentage and .306 on-base mark. She ripped 19 hits and brought
in seven runs. Olive went 4-of-5 on the season in stolen base attempts. She
posted three multiple-hit games. Her one multiple-RBI contest came at Nevada on
April 15. Olive claimed WAC All-Academic Team and NFCA scholar athlete honors
for the second consecutive season.
Freshman (2010):
Olive started 20 games for the Aggies in 36 appearances in her first season. In
the batter's box Olive notched a .353 average in 68 at-bats. She connected on
24 hits and posted eight RBI. Five RBI came in one game on Feb. 13 against UTSA
when
Olive hit her only home run of her career - a grand slam -
to drive in four runs against the Roadrunners. Olive hit four extra-base hits
including three doubles to go with her grand slam. She posted five multi-hit
games and a pair of multiple RBI contests. Olive earned WAC All-Academic Team
honors for her performance in the classroom.
High School: Olive
led the Pioneers into the CIF playoffs in 2007 and 2008, culminating in a CIF
championship game appearance in 2008. The 2008 Pioneers set a new Ventura
County record for most consecutive wins is a season with 30, helping the team move
into the title game. Olive hit .358 as a junior with 34 hits, seven RBIs, two
triples and she scored 25 runs. She stole 15 bases on the season and had a .415
on-base percentage and a .400 slugging percentage.
Personal: Olive is
the daughter of Sandra and Kevin Olive and was born in Northridge,
Calif. She is a psychology major.
