2018 (Freshman) 
Played in 10 games, making one start… Posted a .250 batting average accompanied with a .250 on base percentage and a .250 slugging percentage… Scored a run against Grand Canyon in the WAC Tournament (4/13)…

High School: Batted .471 as a junior for Empire High School with 49 hits, 19 RBI and scored 33 runs…guided EHS to a 21-9 overall mark in 2016 and second-place finish in section play…led the Ravens to the second round of the Arizona Interscholastic Association…Vargas recently joined the Empire HS softball team as last season after spending her freshman and sophomore season playing with her travel ball team, the Arizona Thundercats.
