Junior-Double RS (2007): In her first full season on the field for the Aggies, Frisby started 49 of the 52 games she played in and 43 of those were at second base. She was named the WAC Hitter of the Week on Apr. 23 after batting .556 with five RBI and one home run in the Aggies series victory at Nevada. Her .327 batting average in NMSU’s last 20 games was the second best on the team to close the year out and she had 16 hits, two doubles, two home runs and drove in 11 runners during that stretch. She batted .235 on the year overall with 31 hits, seven doubles four home runs and had 21 RBI. Her two triples led the team and tied for third in the conference. Her season-high three hits came in the Aggies final regular season game of the year on May 5 against Utah State, where she went 3-for-5 at the plate with two RBI and drove in the game-winning run with her single in the bottom of the ninth inning. In an Apr. 20 loss at Nevada, she had season-high three RBI where she went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer. Frisby scored nine runs on the year, drew 12 walks and had a .409 slugging percentage on the year.
Junior-RS (2006): Frisby was granted a rare double-medical redshirt following a knee injury in the fall.
Junior (2005): Frisby redshirted due to an injury to her arm sustained during the off-season.
Prior to NMSU: Frisby attended Midland College for two years before transferring to NMSU. In 2003, Ashley was named WJCAC All-Conference, All-Region, and an NJCAA All-Star. She helped her team win the 2003 WJCAC Championship and NCAA Region V Championship. Also in 2003, Ashley was selected to participate in the Canada Cup.
High School: Frisby attended Fullerton High School in Fullerton, Calif.
Academics: She is majoring in community health.
Personal: Frisby was born in Fullerton, Calif. and is the daughter of Richard and Liz Frisby.
