Freshman (2010): Theis led the Aggies with 24 starts as a true freshman. She made a total of 31 appearances on the year with a record of 8-10. Theis led the Aggies in innings pitched (103.0) and strikeouts (69). She posted a 5.64 ERA allowing 126 hits, 83 earned runs and 52 walks. Theis earned her first career win in her first career game in a 2-1 victory over Nebraska. Theis held the 'Huskers to one run on two hits in five innings of work. On April 26, Theis pitched a complete game win at Cal State Bakersfield. She pitched seven innings allowing one run on five hits while striking out three. On Feb. 19, Theis set a career high with seven strikeouts in a 6-4 win over St. Mary's. Theis earned WAC All-Academic Team honors for her performance in the classroom.

High School: Theis was named to the all-conference team in 2008 and was the Most Valuable Player of both the Mount Hamilton Division and her high school team. She was a 2007 first team Blossom Valley Athletic League selection and was the sophomore of the year in the league. She led Leigh High School to a pair of league championships in her prep career.

Personal: Theis is the daughter of Dan and Brandi Theis. Villanova also heavily recruited her before choosing to become an Aggie.
