Tiare Jennings is back in the Aggie softball program for 2021 after one of the most illustrious careers in Aggie history. Jennings will be a key piece in improving an already great hitting team.
Jennings played a vital role in the success of the Aggie offense in 2021. The Aggies led the WAC in multiple categories on the offensive end. Jennings helped the Aggies to six spots on the All-WAC First and Second Teams as well as helping Nikki Butler to WAC Player of the Year and Matalasi Faapito to WAC Freshman of the Year.Â
Jennings was awarded First Team All-WAC in her sophomore and junior seasons at NM State. She was a four-time recipient of the WAC Player of the Week and also won the Sun Belt Player of the Week as a freshman. Jennings has gone down in the record books in many categories. She is second all-time in career total bases (431), third all-time in career batting average (.362), career doubles (41), career RBI (185), career slugging percentage (.655), and fourth all-time in career home runs (48) and walks (108).
Jennings helped the Aggies win the WAC Tournament in the 2011 season and make the NCAA Tournament.
