Freshman (2006) Two of Minniti's five base hits in her freshman season were home runs and the other three were doubles, resulting in a .412 slugging percentage. She hit her first career homer on February 21 in a 2-1 win over I-25 rivals New Mexico. On the season, Minniti appeared in 20 games and made 12 starts, playing mostly second base.

High School: Minniti is a 2005 graduate of Woodrow Wilson HS in Tacoma, Wash., where she played for her father, Jim. She helped lead the Rams to back-to-back Narrows League titles in 2004 and 2005, garnering All-League honors all four years. As a senior, Minniti batted .648 with six home runs and 13 stolen bases, earning her the Narrows League MVP award and All-State First Team honors. Her high school teammate Stacey Lien joins her on the Aggies.

Academics: She is undecided on her major at NMSU.

Personal: Minniti was born in Tacoma, Washington and is the daughter of Jim Minniti and Laura Klancke.
