Before NM State: Attended Shadow Hills High School...Earned First-Team Desert Empire League...Finished second in the voting of the Desert Empire League Defensive MVP award...Named Shadow Hill's Defensive MVP...Was a perfect 8-8 in throwing out steals her junior year.

Personal: Jaelah is the daughter of James Burrell and Lindsy Tarango and step-daughter of Salvador Rodriguez...Jaelah has two sisters, Tatiana and Justine, and three brothers, Antwan, Francisco and Isaiah....Jaelah is majoring in Biology at NM State.
