Biography

Freshman (2006): Luttmers was selected to the Academic All-WAC team with her 3.81 grade point average. She was primarily employed as a pinch runner in 2006, appearing in 34 games in this capacity while also starting 10 games at second base. She scored nine runs and stole two bases.

 

High School: Luttmers is a 2005 graduate of University City HS in San Diego, Calif., where she played for Don Shankles and Mike Roberts. She helped the Centurions to Western League championships in 2002 and 2003 as well as the 2002 district title and the 2003 CIF champinship. A three-time All-League honoree, Luttmers served as team captain her junior and senior seasons.

 

Academics: She is undecided on her major at NMSU.

Personal: Luttmers was born in San Diego, California and is the daughter of Tim and Janet Luttmers. She would like to become a teacher and a softball coach in the future.
