Junior (2008): Randall had a record-setting season in 2008 and was named to the Troy Cox Classic All-Tournament Team. She played in all but one games and made 56 of her 61 appearances in left field. Randall had a .262 batting average with 25 RBIs, a pair of triples, six home runs and led the team and was third in the WAC with 15 doubles. Against Fresno State, March 7, during the WAC Tournament, Randall set a new NMSU single-season doubles record with 15. She also set the record for most runs scored in a career with 111 which she accomplished against Utah State, May 8. Randall hit a pair of doubles in three games during the season, matching NMSU’s single-game record for doubles and she is the only athlete in recent history to do so multiple times in a season. She etched her name onto a few other NMSU records lists, including the individual career doubles record with 35, ranking her fifth, career home run record with 16, ranking her fourth and the walk record with 68, ranking her third. One of her strongest performances of the season was during the Troy Cox Classic as she was named to the all-tournament team after going 9-of-19 at the plate with two home runs, which included her first career grand slam against Samford, Feb. 23. She also pounded out four doubles, had 10 RBIs and crossed the plate seven times. One of the trickiest batters to be struck out, Randall led the team and ranked third in the WAC in walks with 31 and was the only Aggie to be intentionally walked, which was against Ohio State, March 8. She also had 12 multi-hit games and had the third longest hitting streak on the team with a hit in nine consecutive games. Randall’s defense was close to perfect with an impressive fielding percentage of .988.
Sophomore (2007): Randall was named to her second consecutive All-Tournament Team at the WAC Championships, after hitting .400 with two doubles and two runs scored in the conference tournament. She started all but one game for the Aggies in left field and was fourth on the team in batting with her .314 average. Randall set the school record for most runs scored in a season, as she crossed home plate 45 times and had 10 games where she scored multiple runs. Her 13 doubles on the year was good for second on the team and she added one triple, six homers and tied for the team lead with 20 walks. Her 3.25 at-bats per game was the fifth most in the WAC and she had the fifth highest tally for runs scored in the conference. She had 13 multi-hit games, six three-hit games and nine multi RBI games. One of only four Aggies to not be caught sealing, Randall safely swiped all 13 of her stolen base attempts. In NMSU’s first game of the Houston Marriott Hobby Invitational, Randall drove in all four runs in the Aggies 4-0 victory. She went 2-for-3 in that game with two home runs for her first career multi-homer game. At San Jose State on March 24, Randall was 2-for-4 at the plate with a home run and two RBI. Her final long ball of the year came in a 13-0 win at Nevada on April 20, where she was 1-for-3 with three RBI and scored two runs.
Freshman (2006): Randall, who was named to the All-WAC First Team and the WAC All-Tournament Team as a freshman, played every inning of every game, making 46 starts in left filed, two in right field and on as the designated player. She hit .312, tied for the team lead in hits with 48, had four home runs and 15 RBI while she batted .370 in WAC games. Her first career home run was a game-winning solo shot against Portland State on Feb. 12, while her fourth and final homer of the 2006 season, at Utah State on April 29, was the only run of the ball game in a, 1-0, Aggie victory. In the three-game WAC sweep of Louisiana Tech, Randall batted .700 (7-for-10) with a home run, two doubles, four RBI and six runs scored. She also picked up five hits in seven at-bats against I-10 rival UTEP on Feb. 14, doubling twice and scoring four runs. Randall was named to the 2006 NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete list and made the WAC All-Academic Team.
High School: Randall is a 2005 graduate of Bonita Vista High School in Chula Vista, Calif., where she played for head coach John Carlson. She helped the Barons to a Mesa League co-Championship as a senior, batting .495 and made the Hilltop Tournament Team after leading BVHS to the tournament title.
Academics: She is majoring in accounting and finance.
Personal: Randall was born in Hemet, Calif. and is the daughter of Craig Randall and Donna Provencher.
