Biography

Freshman (2006): Muncrief redshirted the 2006 season.

 

High School: Muncrief played with Aggies teammate Jamie Nussbaum for Farmington (N.M.) HS under coaches Gary Graham and Roy Johnson. She helped the Scorpions to consecutive state championships in 2003 and 2004 and to the state title game in 2005. Muncrief was the MVP of the 2004 Jack in the Box Tournament.

 

Academics: Muncrief is majoring in chemical engineering. She was a Northern New Mexico All-Star and two-time All-Academic selection.

Personal: Muncrief was born in Billings, Montana and is the daughter of Rick and Gail Muncrief. She is related to Bobby Crosby, the starting shortstop for the Oakland Athletics and the 2004 AL Rookie of the Year. Her great-uncle, Bob Muncrief, pitched in the major leagues for 12 years, winning 80 games, appearing in two World Series and winning a championship with the 1948 Cleveland Indians. Her second cousin, Kevin Muncrief, is a professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour. Mindy is majoring in Chemical Engineering.
