2006: Knight had 16 base hits with nine RBI while starting 42 games, mostly at second base. She drew 16 walks, third on the team, to finish her career with 82 bases on balls. That total made her the all-time leader in that category at New Mexico State. Knight's .373 career on-base percentage is tied for the third-best in program history with classmate Mailei Hilva.
2005: Knight was one of two Aggies to start all 60 games. She hit .282, the second-highest batting average on the team, with three home runs and 32 RBI, tied for fourth and solo second on the team, respectively. Knight drew a team-high 33 bases on balls to raise her team-leading on-base percentage to .406. Knight crossed the plate 30 times to grab the team lead in that category as well. She also stole five bases to rank fourth on the Aggies.
2004: Knight started all 63 games for the Aggies as catcher. At the plate, she hit for a .271 average in 170 plate appearances. Knight recorded 46 hits, 12 runs, nine doubles, one triple, two homeruns and 20 RBIs. Behind the plate Knight had 265 putouts and 40 assists while only committing four errors for a .987 fielding percentage. Knight has the second highest career on-base percentage with .396 and third in fielding percentage in school history. Knight is also second in walks with 33 in a single season and holds the individual record with four walks in a game.
Previous School: Knight played the 2003 season at Wichita State with future Aggie teammate Haley Johnston.
High School: Knight attended Owasso High School in Owasso, Oklahoma. Stacy received honorable mention All-Conference in 1997 and 1998. During her 1999 and 2000 seasons she was All-Conference. In 2000 she was an All-State selection.
Personal: Knight was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Frank and Rhonda Knight. She is studying Criminal Justice and Math. When Stacy is not playing softball, she enjoys drawing and watching the Atlanta Braves.
