Sophomore (2011):
Conrad started 55 games in 56 appearances for the Aggies in her second season.
Defensively, she began the year playing shortstop but moved to first base
midway through the season. At the plate, Conrad almost doubled her batting
average from .183 in 2010 to .341 in 2011. She also quadrupled her home run
numbers from two as a freshman to eight in her second year. Conrad ranked sixth
in the WAC with 42 RBI. Her 40 runs scored rated sixth in the conference.
Conrad also stood sixth in the league with 11 doubles. Her .567 slugging
percentage rated ninth in the league. Conrad put together an 11-game hitting
streak April 9-29. She ranked fourth on the team with nine multiple RBI games
and 15 multiple-hit performances. Off the field, Conrad claimed CoSIDA All-District
Second Team honors for the first time. She earned WAC All-Academic Team and
NFCA Scholar Athlete honors for the second straight year.
Freshman (2010):
Conrad started 39 games for the Aggies as a freshman primarily at shortstop.
She helped the Aggie defense to rank seventh nationally in double plays made in
2010. Individually she was involved in six double plays on the year to rank
tied for third in the WAC. She connected on 17 hits and scored 28 runs for the
Aggies. Conrad also drew 20 walks to rank second on the team; she was also hit
by a pitch on nine occasions to lead the squad. Conrad hit two homers, a triple
and a pair of doubles to help drive in 15 RBI on the year. She posted four
multi-hit games as well as four multiple RBI games during the season. Conrad
earned WAC All-Academic Team honors for her performance in the classroom.
High School: Conrad
led Notre Dame Academy to two-straight Sunshine League Championships in 2006
and 2007. She was a first team all-league selection in each of those seasons
and received all-California Interscholastic Federation accolades in 2007. She
was the team MVP in 2007 when she hit .552 with eight home runs, eight triples;
13 doubles and drove in 39 runs. In 2006, Conrad hit .388 with 33 hits, 17
RBIs, three doubles, one triple and one home run.
Personal: Conrad is
the daughter of Diane and Dave Conrad and was born in
Santa Monica, Calif. She is a marketing major.
