Biography

Redshirt Junior (2010): Autry continued her role as designated hitter in her third season. She belted her first pair of home runs as an Aggie in 2010. The first came against Weber State on Feb. 19 and the second happened in league play at Boise State on Mar. 27. Autry set career highs in starts (20), RBI (13), HR (2), total bases (24), slugging percentage (.400), walks (8) and stolen bases (2) as a junior.  Autry scored in five games and notched multiple hits on three occasions. She scored career high two runs against Northern Colorado on Feb. 25. Her best game came against Weber State going 3-for-4 with four RBI and HR, double and two stolen bases and a run scored.

Redshirt Sophomore (2009): As NM State's primary designated player, Autry saw action in the box 39 times in 2009 and made three appearances at first base.  She had a .302 batting average, drove in nine runs, had three doubles and five walks. Autry recorded three, two-hit games throughout the season.  She kicked the year off with a 2-for-3 performance against Colorado State, Feb. 7, and had another 2-for-3 outing versus St. Mary's, Feb. 15. At the UTEP Invitational against Cal State Northridge, Feb. 19, Autry recorded her first RBI double of the season to assist the Aggies' to their fifth run-rule victory.  Her final two-hit game was at Hawai'i, April 25, when she scored a run and had an RBI after going 2-for-3 in the box.

Sophomore (2008): Autry redshirted the 2008 season.

Freshman (2007): She played in 18 games for the Aggies, making eight starts as the designated player.  Autry finished the year with six hits, had three RBIs and scored three runs. Her first career hit came in her second game, which she started against Sam Houston State on Feb. 10, where she went 2-for-3 at the plate and scored her first career run. Autry's first career RBI came against in-state rival New Mexico in Albuquerque, when she plated a run with her pinch hit. Her other two runs that she drove in on the year where in wins over Western New Mexico on May 1 and Utah State on May 4.

High School: Autry was a first team all-state selection her senior year. She was second team all-state in 2005 and made the all-state tournament team that same year while her Bulldog team was state champions under coach Robert Armentrout. In 2004, Autry was the offensive player of the year and earned honorable mention all-state accolades. From 2004-06, she was an all-district selection and was named to the Beaumont Super Gold Team and from 2004-05, she was selected to the Golden Triangle Port Arthur Dream Team. Autry also lettered in volleyball and basketball in high school. Her summer team, coached by Robert Verde, was AGA National Champions in 2005 and runner-up in 2004.

Personal: Autry is the daughter of Oralia and Keith Autry and was born in Victoria, Texas. She is majoring in nursing.
