New Mexico State University Athletics

2011-12 (JUNIOR):  Bautista participated in two tournaments for NM State during her junior year, one as an individual golfer and one as part of the Aggie team.  During the Price's "Give 'Em Five" Intercollegiate at the Aggies' home course (10/10-12) Bautista shot a three-round total score of 39-over-par, 255 including a first round 81 (+9), her best round of the season.  At the Arizona Wildcat Invitational (2/5-7), Bautista finished with a three-round total score of 259.  She finished the season with four birdies and an average score of 85.67 strokes per round.

2010-11 (SOPHOMORE): Bautista competed in two tournaments her sophomore year and averaged 84 strokes per round. She played in the Price's "Give 'Em Five" Intercollegiate (10/11-13) and ended with scores of 82-87-87 to place 76th. She also played in New Mexico Collegiate Cup (2/24) in Socorro, N.M., and placed first with a score of 80.

2009-10 (FRESHMAN): Bautista played in the Price's "Give 'Em Five" Intercollegiate (10/14) and carded rounds of 90-82-87 to finish 93rd.

HIGH SCHOOL: Bautista played golf under coach David Dixon at Gadsden High School in Anthony, N.M. from 2006-09. She won the individual district championship in 2007 and won the individual 5A State Championship in 2008 and 2009.

PERSONAL: Bautista is the daughter of Jose Bautista and Leticia Gallegos and was born in Las Cruces, N.M. She is undecided on a major.
