In dual meets, Lawrence swept the 100 breast and 200 breast at Washington State (Nov. 5). She also won the 100 breast against Boise State/North Texas (Oct. 23), at Northern Arizona (Dec. 4) and at Colorado State (Jan. 22). Lawrence helped the 200-medley relays win at Northern Colorado (Jan. 21) and versus New Mexico (Feb. 5) as the second leg. For the 400-medley relay, she was the second leg for the Aggie wins at CSU and the UNLV Invitational (Dec. 11-13). Lawrence earned Academic All-WAC honors for the third straight season.

2009-10 (Junior): In her junior campaign, Lawrence won her first individual WAC title, when she claimed top honors in the 100 breaststroke at the 2010 WAC Championships with a NCAA 'B' cut time (1:02.49). She also scored in the 200 breast (2:19.30) with a lifetime-best mark and ninth-place showing. Additionally, she posted a season-best time in the 200 individual medley (2:11.53) en route to the Aggies' second-place team showing, a program best. Lawrence also swam the second leg of the 400-medley relay that finished fifth at the conference meet. In the home opening weekend against Northern Arizona/Northern Colorado (Oct. 31), she collected second place in the 100 breast and helped the Aggies to a third-place showing in the 200-medley relay as the second leg. At New Mexico/Wyoming (Nov. 14), Lawrence earned fourth in the 100 breast and swam the second leg of the second-place 200-medley relay. In the home finale against Idaho (Jan. 2), she touched the wall in second place in the 100 breast and was the second leg for the 200-medley relay that recorded third place. At Boise State in the regular season finale (Jan. 30), Lawrence finished third in the 100 breast. For the second consecutive season, she was named to the Academic All-WAC team.

2008-09 (Sophomore): In her second season with the Crimson and White, Lawrence had a significant impact on the Aggie squad. At the WAC Championships, she earned runner-up honors in the 100 breast with a lifetime-best performance and a NCAA 'B' cut time (1:01.97). Lawrence also scored with an eight-place finish in the 200 breast and a 10th-place showing in 200 individual medley at the conference meet. Lawrence also posted top honors in the 100 breast along with a second-place finish in the 200-medley relay and a third-place showing in the 200 breast at LMU. After taking third in the 100 back at Northern Colorado (Jan. 16), Lawrence was second in the 100 breast and 200 breast at Colorado State (Jan. 17). She was then a vital piece in the Aggies second consecutive win over in-state rival New Mexico (Jan. 28). Lawrence finished first in the 200 IM, second in the 100 breast and third in the 200 breast against the Lobos. She was also an Academic All-WAC honoree.

2007-08 (Freshman): Lawrence was a major contributor as a freshman to NM State's success in 2007-08. She scored in three individual events at the WAC Championships and claimed the bronze in the 100 breast with a season-best performance (1:04.00). Lawrence also collected points with a seventh-place finish in the 200 individual medley and an 11th-place showing in the 200 breast. In addition, she was a member of both the 200-medley and 400-medley relays that finished in fourth place and fifth place, respectively. The 200-medley relay also set a school record. In the opening weekend of the season against Northern Colorado/Rice (Oct. 12-13), Lawrence was a part of two relay teams (200-medley and 400-medley), which began the meet with victories. She also won her first individual event as an Aggie, the 100 breast, on day two. Versus Grand Canyon/Texas Permian Basin (Dec. 1), Lawrence recorded another victory in the 100 breast. In the 10-team UNLV Winter Invitational (Dec. 15-17), she had solid performances in the breaststroke events and finished fourth in the 100 and 12th in the 200. Lawrence and the Aggies set the tone against North Texas (Jan. 8) when they opened the meet with a win in the 400-medley relay. At both Boise State (Jan. 19) and New Mexico (Jan. 31), she assisted in the meet victories with wins in the 400-medley relay and 100 breast. Lawrence also won the 100 breast in the regular season finale against Northern Arizona (Feb. 2), which was the Aggies first victory over NAU in school history. In addition to her success in the pool, she was awarded for her work in the classroom when she was named to the Academic All-WAC Freshmen team.

High School: Lawrence graduated from Pflugerville High School where she swam for the Texas Gold swim club and head coach Aubrey Knapper. As a junior and senior at Pflugerville, Lawrence was named an all-American in both the 100 breast and the 200-medley relay while helping the Panthers to back-to-back third-place finishes at the TISCA State Championships for head coach Mark Stohrer. Her 200-medley relay team won the state title in 2005 and 2006 and she qualified for the finals in the 100 breast each season. Lawrence also qualified to compete in both the Spring Nationals and Junior Nationals.
