Biography
2006-07 (Junior): In her third season with the Aggies, Bohm starred in the sprint events and led the way for all five relay teams. She finished the season with the team’s top times in both the 100-yard freestyle (52.29) and 200-yard freestyle (1:53.38). Bohm’s time of 1:53.38 in the 200 free was the ninth fastest time in the league. Her time of 52.33 in the 100 free finals of the WAC Championships was ranked 15th among all WAC swimmers. In the 50-yard freestyle, Bohm set the league’s 16th fastest time at the WAC Championships. Bohm was part of four Aggie relay teams at the WAC Championships, including a pair of fourth-place finishes in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:29.97) and the 800-yard freestyle relay (7:38.08). Bohm also was named to the Academic All-WAC Team for the second straight season.
2005-06 (Sophomore): Bohm swam on the 800- and 200-freestyle relay squads that touched fourth and sixth in 7:37.01 and 1:36.28, respectively, at the WAC Championships to set school records. She took ninth in the 200 freestyle, 11th in the 100 freestyle and 19th in the 50 freestyle as well. Bohm’s dual meet season was highlighted with a victory in the 200 free against I-25 rival New Mexico, Jan. 28. Bohm earned WAC All-Academic Team honors.
2004-05 (Freshman): Bohm set the tone for her collegiate career when she guided the 200-freestyle relay (1:38.14), 400-medley relay (3:57.05) and 400-freestyle relay (3:33.82) to a fourth-place finish at the Sun Belt Championships. On an individual level, she placed sixth in the 100 free (53.17). Bohm’s season highlights included a pair of top 10 finishes against Northern Arizona, chipping in a third place-finish in the 50-meter freestyle (28.14) and the 100-meter freestyle (1:01.39). She also finished second in the 200 free (1:58.53) and in the 100 free (54.70) against New Mexico. At the Sun Belt Fall Classic, Bohm had a fifth-place finish in the 200 free (1:58.99). Throughout the season, Bohm was a member of several Aggie relay teams that placed in the top 5.
High School: Bohm is a graduate of Kentwood Senior High School in Covington, Wash. As a senior, she was named team captain for the Conquerors. Bohm received the most dedicated award her freshmen, junior and senior years. As a sophomore, she was named Kentwood Most Valuable Sophomore.
Personal: Bohm was born in Huntsville, Ala., and is the daughter of Scott and Katy Bohm. She was a member of National Honor Society and an academic all-American. She is majoring in English.
