2017-18: (JUNIOR): Competed in the TYR Pro Swim Series at Mesa where she placed 22nd overall in the 200-meter breaststroke finals with a time of 2:46.07 and 25th after clocking 1:14.11 in the 100-meter breaststroke finals… Notched first-place finishes in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:14.07) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.91) at Western Athletic Conference Championships…Academic All-American and Academic All-WAC recipient.  

2016-17 (SOPHOMORE): McGowan had a breakout season for the Aggies...  Swam 1:03.15 in the 100-yard breaststroke and finished seventh at the Western Athletic Conference Championship meet… Finished eighth in the 200 breaststroke while performing another personal best with a time of 2:18.07… McGowan was selected to swim the breaststroke leg on the 200 medley relay where she split a 28.40 in the 50 breaststroke.

2015-16 (FRESHMAN): At the Western Athletic Conference Championships, finished 21st in the 100 fly with a time of 58.32… Finished 19th in the 100 back with a time of 57.94… Finished 10th in the 200 back with a time of 2:03.41, which was a personal best.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Shawnee Heights High School... Kansas State Champion in the 100 breast, runner up in the 200 IM, first team All-City, All-League and All-State Athlete... Swam for the Topeka Swim Association with head coach Barry Neville... Personal best times of 1:04.93 (100 breast) and 2:23.88 (200 breast).

PERSONAL: From Tecumseh, Kansas... Daughter of Tim and Jan McGowan... Majoring in nursing.
