Biography

2010-11 (Senior): Conrad concluded a very successful Aggie career in 2010-11 with six school records including two individual and four relay records. At the WAC Championships, she broke two records in the 100 free (50.70) and 200 free (1:50.06), both of which were her own. Conrad finished eighth in the 200 free and ninth in the 100 free, along with an eighth-place finish in the 50 free following a lifetime-best performance (23.41) at the WAC meet. She anchored the 200-medley (1:41.63) and 400-medley (3:42.24) relays to runner-up showings with not only a school-record times but also NCAA 'B' cuts. In dual meet action, Conrad swept the 50 free and 100 free at Northern Arizona (Dec. 4) and the 100 free and 200 free at Colorado State (Jan. 22). She set the pace for the victorious 200-free relay at CSU. Conrad also posted top honors in the 50 free and 200-medley relay as anchor at Northern Colorado (Jan. 21) and 200 free at Washington State (Nov. 5). She earned her third career Verizon WAC Swimmer of the Week honor (Jan 25) following her performance at Northern Colorado and Colorado State. At the UNLV Invitational (Dec. 11-13), she anchored the 400-medley relay to top honors. On senior day, Conrad won the 50 free and 100 butterfly to guide the Aggies to their fourth consecutive win over in-state rival New Mexico (Feb. 5). She also anchored the 200-medley relay to victory over the Lobos. For the third consecutive season, Conrad earned Academic All-WAC honors.

2009-10 (Junior): Conrad maintained her significant contributions to the Aggies with stellar performances as a junior. She helped NM State to a program-best second-place finish at the 2010 WAC Championships with top seven showings in all three of the sprint freestyle events. She was sixth in 50 free along with seventh in both the 100 and 200 free en route to breaking the school record in the 200 free (1:51.39) at the WAC meet. Conrad was also a factor in the relay events. She swam the third leg for the third-place 200-medley relay and anchored for the fifth-place 400-medley relay. Conrad set the pace as the leadoff for the 200-free and 400-free relays that finished in sixth and fifth, respectively. In the season opener at the WAC Shoot-Out (Oct. 10), she collected top honors in the 100 free, second place in the 50 free while she anchored the 400-medley relay that finished second. Conrad swept the sprint free events in the home opening weekend against Northern Arizona/Northern Colorado (Oct. 31), when she won the 50 free, 100 free and 200 free. She was also the third leg of the 200-medley relay that claimed second place. At New Mexico/Wyoming (Nov. 14), Conrad finished third in 50 free, 100 free and 200 free along with swimming the second leg of the 400-free relay that also was third. Conrad captured a pair of top honors in the 50 and 100 free at Arizona State (Dec. 19), and she anchored the third-place 200-medley relay. In the home finale against Idaho (Jan. 2), Conrad won both the 50 and 100 free, while she anchored the winning 400-free relay. She was then named the WAC Swimmer of the Week (Jan. 6) for her performance against the Vandals and this was her second career honor. At Boise State (Jan. 30), Conrad placed second in 100 fly, 100 free and 200 free along with second place as the anchor for the 400-medley relay. For the second consecutive season, she was an Academic All-WAC team selection.

2008-09 (Sophomore): In her sophomore season, Conrad continued her solid performance in the sprint freestyle events. At the WAC Championships, she guided NM State to a third-place showing. Conrad posted lifetime-best marks in the 50 free and 100 free as she finished ninth and seventh, respectively. Her 100 free performance was also a school record. In the 200 free, Conrad was 16th with a season-best time. She was a vital member of four relay teams that crushed four NM State records. In the 200-medley relay (1:41.81) that finished third at the WAC meet, Conrad swam the butterfly leg. She was a part of the 200-free (1:33.55) and 400-free (3:26.12) relays, which collected a pair of fifth-place showings. Conrad was the third leg of the 800-free relay (7:28.40) that scored in sixth place. She began the season at the first-ever WAC Shoot-Out (Oct. 10-11) with three individual victories in the 50 free, 100 free and 200 free along with top honors in the 200-medley relay. At Rice/Houston (Nov. 6), she finished first in the 50 free, second in the 100 free and third in the 200 free. In the Aggies' first win at Northern Arizona (Dec. 6), Conrad produced points as she claimed first in the 100 free and 200 free. She also scored at San Diego (Dec. 13) as she took first place in the 50 free and 400-free relay. At Loyola Marymount (Dec. 19), Conrad collected victories in the 100 free and 200-medley relay. Conrad began the spring semester at Northern Colorado (Jan. 16) with a first-place showing in the 100 fly. At Colorado State (Jan. 17), she swam leadoff for the winning 200-free relay. In the win over New Mexico (Jan. 28), Conrad won the 50 free and 200-free relay. She was also named to the Academic All-WAC team.

2007-08 (Freshman): Conrad had a very successful freshman season that included a third-place finish in the 50 free (23.71) at the WAC Championships. She also claimed fourth in the 100 free (51.44) and ninth in the 200 free (1:52.26). Conrad's performance in the 200 free was not only a three-second improvement in her personal-best time, but also set a new school record. Conrad was a member of three relays at the conference meet that broke school records. She was the anchor of the 200-medley relay that finished in fourth place (1:44.52). The 200-free relay also claimed fourth (1:34.91), while the 400-free relay earned third (3:28.00). Conrad opened the season in similar fashion, when she won the 50 free on both days against Northern Colorado/Rice (Oct. 12-13). She was also a part of the victorious 400-medley relay on day one before taking top honors in the 100 free and 200-medley relay on day two. Following that performance, Conrad was named the WAC Athlete of the Week (Oct. 15). Conrad continued to dominate when she won both the 50 and 100 free at the Northern Arizona/Idaho meet (Nov. 10). She was also a member of the winning 400-free relay team that shattered the NAU pool record with a three-second improvement. She collected a pair of seventh-place finishes in the 50 and 100 free at the UNLV Winter Invitational (Dec. 15-17), which was a 10-team meet. In the relay events, she guided the Aggies to fourth place in the 200-free relay, which tied the school record, and fifth in the 200-medley relay. Against North Texas, Conrad won both the 50 and 100 free. She took top honors in the 50, 100 and 200 free at Boise State (Jan. 19) and versus Northern Arizona (Feb. 2). In the Aggies victory over New Mexico, Conrad was a guiding force winning both the 100 and 200 free. She was also successful out of the pool and was named to the Academic All-WAC Freshmen team.

High School: Conrad came to NM State after graduating from Lake Stevens High School in Lake Stevens, Wash. She swam for the Storm Aquatics and head coach Chris Erickson. As a senior, Conrad was named the team's most valuable player and received all-America consideration after winning the 200-free relay and placing second in the 50 free and 100 free events at the state championships. She left high school with the school record in the 200-medley relay, 200 IM, 50 free, 100 fly, 100 free, 200-free relay, 100 breast and the 400-free relay.

Personal: Conrad was born in Everett, Wash., and is the daughter of Andrew and Sheila Conrad. She is majoring in hotel, restaurant and tourism management.
