Biography
2006-07 (Sophomore): In her second season with the Aggies, Lawrence continued her strong performance in the breaststroke events. Lawrence set career highs in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:06.88), the 200-yard breaststroke (2:24.46) and the 200-yard individual medley (2:09.87). All three of her top times ranked in the top 12 among WAC swimmers. She was also a member of the 400-yard medley relay team that placed sixth at the WAC Championships.
2005-06 (Freshman): As a freshman, Lawrence was 13th in the 200 breaststroke at the WAC Championships while grabbing 16th-place finishes in both the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke.
High School: A graduate of Pflugerville High School, Lawrence was a four-year letterwinner for head coach Mark Stohrer. A state championship qualifier, Lawrence did hold seven Pflugerville school records in breaststroke, backstroke and individual medley events.
Personal: Lawrence was born in Las Cruces, N.M. She is the daughter of NMSU alums Scott and Caroline Lawrence and her younger sister, Alannah, is a freshman on the Aggie squad. Lawrence is studying industrial engineering
