Biography
2016-17: Spring: Finished the season with 11 wins, seven coming in the dual season…named Academic All-WAC for the second-straight year at season's end...picked up her first dual victory of the season 7-5, 6-2 against Emilie Semo of Central Oklahoma (1/14)…defeated Kaja Ljubic of Stephen F. Austin (2/25) 6-2, 7-5…recorded her first conference victory over Kali McCollister of Seattle U (3/17) 6-2, 6-3…ended the regular-season with back-to-back wins over UTEP and UT Permian Basin’s No. 5 singles player. Fall: Opened the fall season 3-0 and captured the championship for her flight at the Aggie Invitational…picked up a win over Diya Menon of UTSA 7-5, 6-3 (5) at the Arizona Wildcat Invitational.
2015-16: Spring: Went 4-1 in Western Athletic Conference play during freshman campaign, earning Second-Team All-WAC honors in singles…named to Academic All-WAC Freshman/Transfer team…finished season 8-8 overall and 7-3 in dual play at the No. 6 singles position…won five-straight matches between March 19 and April 3…picked up her first collegiate dual victory against Dana Piñeda of Pima CC (2/12) 6-1, 6-0…her first WAC singles victory against Marie Deleval of Grand Canyon (3/19) 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 on the road clinched the match for NM State…downed Allie Schulte of UMKC (4/1) 6-2, 7-6 for her first WAC victory at home…helped NM State win its first regular-season title since joining the WAC with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Audrey Scott of Seattle U (4/3). Fall: Picked up her first collegiate win against Molly Crum of Montana State 6-3, 6-2 at the USTA/ITA Mountain Regional Championship consolation match…teamed up with Chloe Jolliff to pick up her first collegiate doubles victory against Marquette’s Siliva Ambrosio and Paula Tormos 8-6…recorded another doubles victory over Rachana Bhat and Ruth Copas 7-5 of No. 59 New Mexico at the Lobo Fall Invitational with Marie-Pier Thiffault.
Prior to NM State: Arnaudova played in several junior tournaments, including the round of 16 at the Kenana Cup in 2014…she also played the round of 16 of the Haskovo Cup in 2011.
Personal: Daughter of Venelin and Ani Arnaudova…has an older sister, Yanita, who played tennis at St. John’s...majoring in wildlife science.
