Biography

2016-17: Spring: Did not see action in the spring. Fall: Opened the season with a victory over Sofia Ochoa of UT Permian Basin (9/23) 6-2, 6-2...followed up with a 6-4, 4-6, 7-5 win over Kyle Waschuck of Grand Canyon in the semifinal singles match at the NM State Aggies Invitational...also started the season with a pair of doubles victories at the NM State Aggies Invitational.

2015-16: Spring: Redshirted. Fall: Played in all four tournaments in the fall as a freshman, picking up three singles victories and one in doubles action…won her first collegiate singles match ever, defeating Rafaella Zak Zak of Arizona Christian 6-1, 6-2…downed her first Division I opponent with a 6-3, 7-5 win over Bethan Hayward of UTEP…came out on top in three-set thriller over Marquette’s Aleeza Kanner 6-0, 4-6, 6-3…picked up her first-career doubles victory with Mia Brandt at the Rice Invitational with a 7-5 win over Stephen F. Austin’s Vanesa Pardo and Dhanielly Quevedo.
 
Prior to NM State: Played for Sint-Martinus College Overijse and Club Panaroma under coach Johan Teirlink…went a combined 15-3 in the last three seasons. 
 
Personal: Daughter of Philippe Van Eeckhoudt and Veronique Chateau…older sister Laura plays tennis at Belmont…majoring in International business.
